“L’Art se rue 3” questions the representation of the feminine in urban art.is not a book about women street artists, but rather the selection of artists is in fact mixed. With Alice Mizrachi | BR1 | France Tricot Collective | Fair | Eric Lacan | FKDL | Kashink | Jennifer Caviola | Keflione | Kid Acne | Konny Steding | Mademoiselle Maurice | Lady Pink | Madame | Mode 2 | Paddy | Sara Conti | Vinie Graffiti + Tatyana Fazlalizadeh (foreword).
Street art, as a practice stemming from graffiti and long reserved for men, needed time to adapt and a significant internal evolution to become more feminized. Despite the presence of some women from the very beginning (Lady Pink in New York, Miss. Tic in Paris, Mickey in the Netherlands), it is only in the last ten years or so that examples of female artists active in the field of street-art have multiplied. It is in parallel with the relative feminization of the practice that more and more female figures have appeared on the walls of cities.
