Manuel Gerullis is a father, graffiti artist and cultural lobbyist. He is the mastermind behind the world famous ‘International Meeting of Styles’ event series. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany, he became involved in Hip Hop in 1984. Since the mid 1990’s he is engaged in cultural and political activities while creating and organizing an international graffiti meeting in his hometown Wiesbaden. Since 2002 his idea has grown into a global venture with countless international events.
The story of, and images from The Meeting of Styles is the offspring of the legendary Wall Street Meeting, an international graffiti and Hip Hop event in Germany, drawing 25,000 artists. The International Meeting of Styles, founded in 2002, now the biggest event in world graffiti culture with 130 events and 150,000 visitors across New York, Chicago, London, Paris, Buenos Aires, Venice, St. Petersburg and Sofia.
