Dutch artist Karski designed the bold new packaging for Tia Maria’s Iced Coffee Frappe cocktail. This book, CONTRAST, was created as an extension of this assignment. The book displays the work and stories of not only Karski but also his ‘friends’ in the world of graffiti and street art: Beyond, Telmomiel, Nasepop, Bier en Brood, DAZE, SatOne, Sipros, Stefan Nikolai Ormeling, Zurik and Treze, Bonzai.  Collegues he has worked with throughout his long career. Karski (1974) used the spraycan to write his name for the first time in 1984. It changed his life. Later on he studied at the art school in Den Bosch and started an advertising agency. At 30 he moved to Amsterdam, quit his job at the agency, starts selling spray cans on Waterlooplein in Amsterdam where he met Nasepop and together they created murals at daytime and painted trains at night. The two founded Mooiemuur.nl, painted for a living and travelled the world. In 2010 he was assigned to paint 3500 square meters in Beirut and Abu Dhabi. Karski assembled a team of artists who would fit the job and in 2013 they painted the murals. In 2015 Karski and Dutch graffiti writer/artist Beyond teamed up with the aim to do large murals as a duo, in which they succeeded. Karski & Beyond are rapidly making a name in the world of street art ever since.
