ROOFTOP GRAFFITI PARIS is a tribute to the graffiti created on the roofs of Paris. Documentation work putting graffiti in perspective against the architecture of an emblematic city, this book is nourished by impressive panoramic photos taken by Jean-Yves Donati, associated with an interview and graphic contributions by the graffiti artist Nassyo. A key figure in contemporary graffiti, Nassyo was known in the 1990s alongside crews such as KDS, KCA, BAK, DKA and TW. He is now a painter, illustrator and graffiti artist. This photographic work captures a rare vision of the capital, whose monumentality finds a perfect field of expression in the use of panoramic photography. The presence of graffiti on the roofs, by turns discreet and imposing, reminds us that graffiti has become a constitutive element of the contemporary city.
