DELTA is a graffiti artist from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, known for his architectural style. A collection of multi-layer paper collage sleeves released by the techno label Ann Aimee under his real name Boris Tellegen. Tight, solid shapes built with simple tools using techniques that have been active and evolved for more than 20 years. Intelligence visual techno arrived via architecture, product design, and graffiti!
Boris Tellegen, also known as “DELTA”, was one of the pioneers of graffiti in Amsterdam. Since the early 1980s, he has been a key part of the urban art movement itself. His edgy street painting style, which makes full use of three-dimensional paintings, is reminiscent of futuristic architecture and makes everyone realize at a glance that it belongs to him. Industry Educated in Aldesign, in recent years he has used a number of more traditional artistic mediums as materials, including objects, sculptures, illustrations, paintings and collages. His remarkable talent is blooming. Even now, when street lighting is less and less, his work is still based on his unique three-dimensional (graffiti) lettering. Even if they have undergone complete transformations and become mere abstract forms, the foundation of his art is the “letters” that form graffiti. At the root of his philosophy of expression is the theme of “the power to confront.” Flat and undulating, immovable and fluid, real landscape and abstract world, and one of his favorite themes, “growth and decline,” are also styles that have continued since his days as a graffiti writer. Today, his activities are expanding to include video games, toys, and company logo design.
