“The project aims to convey the strong emotions of a specific moment, that of underground Rome between 1998 and 2008. It is the Rome experienced by kids who felt wrong. They expressed their contempt for society by painting with wild, instinctive and contagious energy. The metro was the way to make our emotions run and communicate to the whole city expressed through layers upon layers of color.
The wagons communicated the discomfort of every metropolis, of every misunderstanding towards us. For this reason, Writing, with its authenticity, its instinctive and disruptive force, has been able to fill our inner voids, making us feel less alone. For us this is an important project, an end in itself, without any
pretense but with the need to communicate sensations, moods that can shake even the younger generations.
He wants to create connections, a sense of community and pay homage to a subversive movement that has been a therapy for us, a fundamental part of our lives”.
